Selected works from the Roger Kemp Estate are presented at Melbourne’s Eastgate Gallery to coincide with the artist’s retrospective currently showing at the National Gallery of Victoria.

Kemp was a deeply visionary artist, and one of the foremost modernists of his generation. His distinctive approach was symbolic, and metaphysical in nature, resulting in rich and resonant works of sublime conviction, that occupy an important place in Australian art history.

These works from the artist’s estate are exhibited for the first time since his death in 1987.
